Australian Space Awards 2025

In its sixth year, the Australian Space Awards became the benchmark for excellence in the emerging field of space.

Recognising the leading individuals and businesses driving the development of Australia’s space economy, the Australian Space Awards universally acknowledged all space industry stakeholders – from major listed organisations and corporates servicing Australia’s space sector to SMEs, start-ups, academic institutions, and associations driving innovation and accelerating the industry to new heights.

The awards were open to all businesses supporting the Australian space industry across fields including launch, telecommunications, satellites, energy, mining and transport, as well as defence, agriculture, disaster and water management.

The Australian Space Awards celebrated the best of the best in Australia’s space sector and the outstanding contribution of professionals and businesses working within the space industry.

The awards quickly became the benchmark for excellence in the space industry, with some of the most progressive and exciting space businesses in Australia capitalising on the awards program to drive business growth, attract investment and expand their capabilities for space consumers.

Attendees celebrated with their teams in style at the industry’s night of nights at the black-tie event in May.

Australian Space Summit and Exhibition 2025

2026 dates to be announced

The Australian Space Summit & Exhibition returned for its fourth consecutive year to illuminate the increasing gravity of the sector. Held in May at a critical time for the nation’s space community, the summit united the sector’s most influential decision makers from across the public and private spheres for two dynamic days of case-based insight.

With a diverse agenda featuring over 70 frontline perspectives from across the space and defence sectors, the summit presented established and emerging industry players with unmatched opportunities for cross-border collaboration.

Since the previous summit, Australia’s space community had made significant strides towards space sovereignty and, in doing so, emerged as a driving force behind the national economy. The sessions were curated in deep consultation with industry experts to accelerate this progress, with a focus on practical insights to empower further transformation in the sector. From leveraging geographic advantages for national advancement to deepening international partnerships and enhancing technological capabilities, the speakers explored authentic opportunities for growth while confronting the barriers that had hindered development in the sector.

Attendees secured their place to launch their space ambitions to new heights and help shape the future of Australia's space industry.
